Ingredients
  

  • 1 porterhouse steak
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme optional
  • 4 cloves chopped garlic optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the grill and preheat it for at least 10 minutes.
  • Use pepper and salt for seasoning the steak.
  • Oil the steak or the grill grates.
  • Place the steak on the grates. Rotate it 45 degrees on the grill after you've cooked for about 2 minutes, or to your desired degree of doneness.
  • Let the steak rest for a minimum of 5 minutes before slicing from the bone and serving.
